Challenge

Work on the different levels of reading a text to create an illustration for a book cover. Secondary objectives include analyzing forms, generating meaning through shapes, and reinterpreting familiar objects and forms.

Result

The illustration uses symbolic and natural elements to convey the deeper meaning of Little Red Riding Hood’s story. A path of rose petals represents her loss of innocence, while the wolf, holding a single petal, embodies control and exploitation. These elements together create a visual narrative of vulnerability and power dynamics, aligning with the story’s themes.
